Carefree Calendula Seeds
Carefree Calendula is a cheerful flower, who will grow big, bright orange flowers. Flowering: Mid June-September.
Height: 18 in.
Instructions: Choose a sunny site in the garden, with weed free soil. Put each seed into the soil, about 1/2 in. deep. Lightly cover with soil and water them well. Help them grow be feeding with plant food and watering them when they need it. Sow between August and September to flower May next year.

Cool Carrot Seeds

Cool Carrot Seeds
Cool Carrot is crunchily irresistible, with a fresh tasty flavour. Instructions: Sow: March-July.
Vegetables Ready: mid April-end October. Choose a sunny site in the garden with good, weed free soil. You can cut the tape to any length; make sure you do not damage the seeds inside. Make 'channels' in to the soil about 1/2 in. deep and 6 in. apart. Roll the tape out along the channel. Lightly cover with soil and water well. Carrots grow best in good soil in a sunny place.
Hints and Tips: Tape length 15 feet. These seeds are wrapped in a special tape that makes them easier to handle.

Crazy Cornflower would be very happy to be displayed in a vase of water. Flowering: Mid June-September.

Curly Cress has a tongue tingling taste, which will liven up your sandwiches and salads. Instructions: Sow seed all year round. Choose a container with small holes in the bottom. Fill with compost or a few layers of tissue (cotton wool or kitchen towel) and water lightly. Scatter the cress seeds over the surface, but not too thickly. Cover the tray with paper and keep on a window sill to grow. When the seedlings are 1 in. high, remove paper. Make sure curly cress does not dry out.
Hints and Tips: Try sowing cress seeds at different times, so you will have plenty to eat with your salad.

Tearaway Tomato looks a little tough but he's quite sweet really. Sow: February-April.
Transplant: May-June. From February onwards sow seeds inside in trays of quality compost 1/4 in deep. Keep on a sunny windowsill or in a greenhouse to grow. When the tiny plants are large enough to handle, carefully plant each one into a 3 in pot to grow on. They will need the support of a strong cane to help as they grow. Pick your tomatoes when they are lovely and red.
